Summary of ENGclusion participant demographics.

So far, we have received 150 responses to the first ENGclusion questionnaire. The participants come from nearly all New Zealand Universities and from a wide range of engineering and computer science specialisations. There are 77 women, 63 men, and 8 who identify as non-binary or genderqueer. In terms of ethnicity, there are 12 Māori, 101 European, 6 Pacific Peoples, 51 Asian, and 4 Middle Eastern, Latin American, or African (MELAA). One hundred and one participants identify as heterosexual, while 45 identify as LGBTQIA+.

Data analysis is underway, and we will share results as they are available.
